Tamil film has seen transsexuals portrayed ineffectively in a few movies. Very little endeavors were made to communicate their sentiments properly. Acclaim to chief Vijayabaskar who has come out with Filter Gold which crude and practically genuine. He has attempted to say their accounts and sentiments in an authentic way.
Other than coordinating, he plays the lead as transsexual Viji. She is shown practically like an irate do-gooder we saw in Nayagan or Thalapathy. Viji is more a Godfather to a local area of transsexuals in Pudhucherry. Her guts is her weapon. Any issue, crisis or help, all hapless transsexual rush to her.
Viji lives with (Dora Sree), a transsexual in a little leased house. Shanthi ( Sugumar Shanmugam) from their local area is their best buddy. One fine day, Shanthi is killed. In the mean time there is a sub-plot in the story. A craftsman Aasari ( Siva Elango) recruits Viji to knock off those robust men who unleash destruction on ladies’ lives. Call it a bend, Aasari’s child succumbs to Dora and adore blooms between them. Viji has twofold obligation on her hand. One to retaliate for the enemy of Shanti and one more to ensure Dora as Aasari comes to be aware of his child’s sentiment.
Vijayabaskar as Viji progresses admirably. The feelings, outrage, misery, bliss and distress have been brought out well. Dora Sree contributes well. Sugumar Shanmugam’s demonstration is calculable. Siva Elango is pick of them as he takes care of his business easily and spirit.
There are a lot of discoursed that are hard-hitting. Many gets quieted as the film has dealt with An endorsement. Still they can be disregarded for the message it attempts to pass on. Also from showing transsexual as simple object of must, the chief has attempted to feature their ‘distinctive’ world. Created by RM Nanu, it has music by Human Ezhilan, camera by Bharanikumar and altering by King David.
Coordinated by Vijayabaskar, the film has some hard-hitting exchanges. The chief has attempted to introduce the battles of transsexual in a crude and genuine way.
Vijayabaskar likewise plays the lead job in the flick and conveys an enthusiastic presentation.
Rest of the cast including Sugumar Shanmugam, Dora Sree, Siva Elango have all done their part admirably. Music by Human Ezhilan is great.
Bharanikunar’s camerawork is apparent. Altering by King David is fresh. The film is bankrolled by RM Nanu.
